HUGO PENTEADO – CHIEF ECONOMIST AND INVESTMENT STRATEGIST – SANTANDER ASSET MANAGEMENT

Reflection and analysis of post-crises scenery

In his presentation Penteado will explore post-crises economical scenery analyses and how the sustainability impacts global economy, he is considered a brilliant speaker when comes to bring new insights for corporate strategies.

SPEAKER´S PROFILE: Hugo Penteado is an Economist and holds a Master Degree by the University of São Paulo and has been acting in the financial market for more than 20 years. He authored the book Ecoeconomia – Uma Nova Abordagem (Ecoeconomy – A New Approach). Penteado has been focusing – particularly in the last five years – on discussing the matter of Sustainability, its relation with the financial system, responsibility, and participation of people and companies.
Making brilliant remarks, this "ecoeconomist" has become the most sought lecturer to share his ideas. He grabs all opportunities intelligently and reasonably to spread his knowledge and opinions in companies, banks, universities, and press.
He advocates Nature preservation, and is distinguished and innovative for embracing Sustainability as an economic factor of influence. He is also praised for his strategic analysis on crisis scenarios. In a recent interview for Portal Imprensa, Hugo asserted that:“The environment is not yet indispensable for the media, because people still keep a mindset of separating economy and environment, as if they could be separated. Such myth derives from a self-concept of the human being, by which they think they are able to do something really important to the Universe. The most important thing we should do here is taking care of each other all the time, as we are very vulnerable and dependent. We must remember that everything surrounding us is matter and energy, and the human being cannot create matter or energy. For nature we are mere consumers/transformers, and we cannot keep behaving like a plague anymore.” (Source: HTTP//portalimprensa.com.br)

This young Israeli traveler is tested to the extreme through 20 harrowing days of sheer survival.
